The materials generally used for ‘made to measure’ summer houses but depending on the size the bigger the timber construction

  • 75mm x 50mm (3×2″) floor joist with 22mm x 150mm finished size T & G floor boards (3/4″ x 6″)
  • Uprights framing from 50mm x 50mm (2 x 2”) depending on shed size required
  • The inside is lined with a breathable felt
  • Shiplap cladding is a 22mm x 150mm finished size
  • The roof construction is a heavy-duty timber frame and securing TGV boards onto the frame then finishing off with 38kg green mineral felt, heavy duty
  • To enhance the overall appearance with finish off with a decorative timber border around the outside of the building.

A single window and a single door as standard on the shed but you can have more windows and doors for an additional costing and to your design/ requirement

The softwood timber is tantalised / pressure treated, therefore the treatment is a protection against rot and fungal decay, is a desired service life, NOT a warranty or guarantee. The timber would require weather proof protection to prevent water ingress during spells of prolonged rainfall.
